Twin Rivers Physical Therapy offers physical and occupational therapy for all types of rehabilitation. Based on the physician’s diagnosis, referral, and patient’s goals, a comprehensive interdisciplinary evaluation is performed and the treatment plan is established.

Emphasis is on restoring the patient’s functional independence by combining the functional rehabilitation clinic, the appropriate exercises, and community activities. The functional rehabilitation clinic has a home type setting with a bedroom, living room, bathroom, and kitchen designed to be similar to a standard home.

Community activities will be done that are specific to each individual patient’s needs. These may include recreational activities, shopping, or hobbies. Special attention is placed on education of patients, family members, and care givers about the patient’s diagnosis, individualized needs, expected outcomes, and home programs.
